About Danilo Sanino

My name is Danilo Sanino, I live in Italy, near the Alps.
I start to draw when I was very very young, I don't remember a time when I did not draw! In that time, I waited with trepidation the moment where I would have attended a true Art School. The moment is arrived, then I have been also in an academy of art, but just in the real, next job I have discovered the possibility to put my drawings on the computer and transform them into digital illustrations. I work since 2005 as full time free lancer illustrator, for customers and micro stock agencies. My work is quite linear: I always start with pencil sketches (I have mountains of white papers all around my desktop :-), then I scan them and put them on my monitor. With graphic tablet and software Illustrator, I re-trace the sketch, coloring and finishing it. In this way, I obtain a clear, vector illustration.
