About Sean Davey

Sean Davey is one of the best ocean, surf and sea life photographers on this blue planet (and he has the awards and more than 140 magazine covers to prove it). Growing up on the island of Tasmania, Australia and calling Oahu, Hawaii home for more than a decade, it is rare time that he hasn't been in or near the ocean waves during his more than 30 year career as a professional photographer.

That's a lot of time on, in, and under the water. And when he's not in the water, he's often leading adventure photography excursions or he's perfecting his craft. While Sean was one of the first pros to start shooting digital photography, he's also got decades of darkroom experience. The finesse and detail learned in the darkroom, combined with his natural talent and the digital tools available today, get combined by Sean to create truly stunning imagery you won't find from others.
