Wallpaper Murals Make Great Layouts & Backdrops For All Sorts of Models & Hobbies

Dawn B. of Batesville Dental in Batesville, Indiana was kind enough to send us pictures of her recent installations of some very unique, wooden duck carvings (they’re not really decoys, but they’re more than just figurines). Whatever they are, they’re very cool and needed displays just as cool as they are.

The alcoves in which these decoys were hung have been outfitted with wooden sills to make them look like 3-dimensional windows. In addition to the sills, the alcoves are outfitted with recessed lighting to really showcase the carvings during the evening hours when the lights are mostly off.

Dawn created four installations in total, each using a unique mural. They are:
Dreamy Sunrise over Newcomb Lake,
Lake Sunset with Birds, Lake Boat, and Tikchik Lake.

Cropping Creates Custom Backgrounds

If you compare the full mural images to Dawn’s impeccable installations, you’ll find that in most instances only a portion of the original mural was used. While most images found around the web don’t have the resolution to create a large art print, the curated collection at Magic Murals have such high resolution and low noise levels that we can often crop our images and create a large print or wall mural using just the portion you want.
