Golf Course Murals for Man Caves
Golf Course Murals for Man Caves (And How To Turn Your Golf Simulator Space Into A Spot That Will Really Make Your Friends Green With Envy)
It will come as no surprise that golf course murals are among the most popular wallpapers for man caves of all shapes and sizes. While other sports like football, soccer and baseball might gain more television ratings and spirited debates among fans, golf course murals are, by their very nature, beautiful and relaxing and thus more popular for decorating.
While the chief decorator of the house might object to a wall sized image of a football stadium or soccer pitch, he or she is much more likely to approve of something like a beautiful manicured TPC Stadium 17th Hole Wallpaper featuring a lake, flowers and forested background.
Not only are golf murals among the most popular for man caves, but they’re among the most popular of ALL murals sold (right up there with beach & tropical murals).
That’s because both of these mural categories allow us to envision ourselves in a place we’d much rather be: out hitting the links or laying by the shore soaking up the sun. And they both feature beautiful vistas filled with nature. And let’s face it – when we’re spending so much time indoors, it’s nice to bring some of the outdoors inside too.
They’re more than wallpaper murals, they’re artwork that create stunning accent walls and really influence the entire vibe of the space they’re decorating.
That’s why we find wall-sized golf courses in man caves of all types. Our murals are bringing favorite and famed courses to every room where a duffer can dream of an eagle, from home offices to corporate corner offices, from den’s to bedrooms to bathrooms to garages.
Speaking of garages… Garages across the country have been turning into golf simulator rooms at an off the wall rate for the past couple of years and the trend sees no end in sight. Of course, mansions and luxury homes may have an actual room devoted to golf practice, but most of us can only swing a club in our garages with higher ceilings. No matter where you practice your swing, if you’ve spent somewhere up to $20,000 or more on a golf simulator, you might as well spruce up the place and really immerse yourself in an augmented realty of golfing paradise.
Here’s What One Customer Says About The Mural In His Golf Simulator Room
A few months ago while remodeling our home, we were trying to decide how to repurpose an extension of our recreation room. After many ideas were considered I (somewhat jokingly) suggested we turn the room into a golf simulator room. Fully expecting the wife to laugh and say “I don’t think so” she said “ok, but I want it to look nice”.
I was elated and began planning. The wife suggested we try to give it an outdoor feel. Intrigued by the notion, I began sketching out ideas. I planned a brick wall and wainscoting, decorative sky panels in the ceiling, etc. but there was still something missing. The wife then said “how about a mural of a golf course”? What a brilliant idea!
I starting browsing the internet and came across Magic Murals. After a few evenings of looking at several murals, I finally called and asked their advice. Their customer service was amazing. They gave me suggestions as to the size, material and even advice on how to install it. I have to admit I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.
The mural came in 3 sections and I had it installed in less than an hour from start to finish. The quality of the material is excellent and the end result absolutely made the room. I could not be happier. All my guy friends are green with envy and because of the mural, we actually feel as if we are playing golf outdoors.
I would recommend Magic Murals to ANYONE that is considering a mural. They are excellent to work with and I can’t stop looking at other walls where another mural might work.
I would like to thank everyone at Magic Murals for their assistance and wonderful service. Attached is a photo of the finished product.

So, browse through our collection of golf wallpaper and select your favorite course, your favorite view or one of our other golf-themed images. We’ve got everything from California courses with Pacific Ocean views to New York’s Bethpage Black Course to Scotland’s St. Andrews Links where the game was invented. And scores of other courses from across the world. There’s Old Head Golf Links in Kinsale, Ireland or, for something a little warmer, Punta Espada in the Dominican Republic or the Wailea Emerald Course in Maui, Hawaii.
And if you want a mural of your own home course, we can do that to. Just head on over to our Custom Mural page and upload your own picture. You can create your own mural in just a few strokes.
We can’t all live in a golf course villa, but with a custom-sized mural that perfectly fits any wall, we can give ourselves even better views without the 6:00 a.m. chatter of golfers discussing the lay of the green or where the heck their ball has disappeared to.
Of course, not every man cave is in your own home. Sometimes we have to leave the house and go to a luxury sports bar like The Bunker in Guilderland, New York to practice our swing and hang with our friends.
And not every golf mural is actually a mural! Magic Murals is one of the very few companies where you can get a HUGE framed print… up to 10′ x 50′ in size. How do we do this? It’s a fabric print and the metal frame comes in pieces and snaps together. For more information, check out our Magic Frame!
It was the perfect solution for this client who had his golf simulator in a basement with pipes and other infrastructure along the wall. Flip through the pictures and you can see his before and after photos.
Thanks for joining us on a tour of the wonderful things our customers have done with their beautiful golf course murals. You can see all of our golf wallpapers here. If you need any advice, or if there’s a particular course you’d like on your wall but it’s not already in our collection, contact us and we’ll be glad to assist.
