Wrap a Column with a Wall Mural
Greek and Roman columns can eat their hearts out. Look at what Mickey R. of Glen Burnie, Maryland did by wrapping this column with a Magic Mural. It looks absolutely fabulous and ranks right up there with some of the most creative uses for a mural we’ve ever seen.
What makes it even more creative is the vision it took to take the original color mural and have us print it in grey scale. You can see the original in the comments below.
Thanks so much, Mickey, for sharing this with us. The whole room looks great.

This is the original mural image. It took real vision to see what it would look like in gray scale wrapped around that column.

This is a great incentive to think outside the box about where a mural would work. I am going to be looking around home and school to try to get some inspiration.

I really like this idea. I think wrapping a column in a galaxy type mural would be amazing looking.

That really is creative! So much better than just a plain white column. Would have been kind of cool to have the color mural on the wall in the back. Or would that have been too much?

Hi Mark –
Yeah, Mickey did a great job. As for the wall in the foreground… agreed. Would have been very cool to see the same mural, full size and in full color.
Maybe you should do something similar and post some pics? ?
